Situated in the rural Cumbrian village of Burton-in-Kendal, St. James is an evangelical Anglican church.  We are closely linked with Holy Trinity church in our neighbouring village of Holme, sharing the same minister and regularly meeting as one church family.

We meet at 11am in Burton most Sunday mornings.  Occasionally we hold a joint service with Holy Trinity at 10am, in either Burton or Holme.  Please check our 'Coming Up' diary on our church website for confirmation of this week's service times.

We aim faithfully to worship the risen Lord Jesus who has forgiven and rescued us. We long to serve the people of our village by our practical love and our clear proclamation of the Good News of Jesus Christ. You will be warmly welcomed to any of our services.  We are pleased to stand firmly on the Reformed foundation of the Church of England with its commitment to the truth of the Bible.

Our church website is https://www.burtonandholmechurches.org
